J.A. Air, Chicago’s premier FBO and general aviation facility, needed a redesigned website to create a more streamlined, user-friendly experience. Their existing site lacked intuitive navigation and did not effectively support their growing need for an eCommerce solution to sell aircraft and aviation parts. Since J.A. Air had minimal branding, we built upon our previous work with JA Flight to establish a cohesive yet distinct identity for their new website. We refreshed the color palette, typography, and iconography to create a modern and professional look while maintaining a strong connection to aviation through bold imagery and real-life photography.

A key focus was improving site navigation to ensure a seamless experience. Aircraft and aviation parts were placed front and center, making them more accessible to potential buyers. Additionally, we strategically integrated eCommerce functionality, allowing J.A. Air to manage and expand its online sales over time.

Despite challenges with receiving a finalized product list from the client, we have structured the website in a way that allows for ongoing updates and flexibility. This ensures J.A. Air can continue to refine its offerings post-launch.

The Results

The redesigned website is straightforward, friendly, and efficient, aligning with J.A. Air’s reputation for quality aviation services. Customers now have a simplified shopping experience, with aircraft and parts showcased more effectively. The site’s improved architecture makes navigation intuitive, while the monochromatic blue color scheme and high-impact typography reinforce J.A. Air’s professional identity.

Although the project faced some hurdles, including incomplete product information at launch, the new website has successfully positioned J.A. Air for long-term revenue growth through online sales. The client has since made multiple updates, further tailoring the site to their evolving needs.
