Author's Work.
As a Senior Search Marketing Strategist at RivalMind, Andrew works closely with clients and team members to build thoughtful, results-driven strategies across SEO and PPC. He’s often the one digging into the numbers, uncovering what’s working, what’s not, and where there’s room to grow. His goal is always the same: help clients show up where it matters and connect with the right audience in meaningful ways.
You’ll often find him collaborating with designers, writers, and developers to bring strategy to life, making sure everything from site structure to messaging supports the bigger picture. His work bridges data and creativity, with a steady focus on long-term growth and measurable impact.
Author Process.
Andrew’s process always begins with understanding the clients goals, audience, and what makes their business unique. From there, he dives into the data, analyzing past performance, keyword trends, competitor benchmarks, and industry insights to get a clear picture of what’s working and where the gaps are.
On the PPC side, Andrew focuses on efficiency. He works to eliminate wasted spend, tighten targeting, and make sure every ad reaches the right people at the right time. For SEO, his attention turns to technical health, content quality, and opportunities to build long-term authority.
Once the foundation is clear, he builds a tailored strategy, tests different ideas, and refines the approach based on what the data reveals. For Andrew, strategy isn’t a set-it-and-forget-it plan. It is a living process rooted in insight, action, and constant improvement.
Author's Full Story.
Andrew studied both traditional and digital marketing at Northern Illinois University, where he first developed an interest in how strategy and data come together to drive results. After graduating, he joined RivalMind as an SEO Strategist, which was his first real step into the world of search marketing. It didn’t take long for him to grow into a broader role. Today, he serves as a Senior Search Marketing Strategist, leading both SEO and PPC campaigns for a wide range of clients across industries.
Interestingly, Andrew never expected to enjoy client-facing work. But over time, he found that building relationships and seeing the direct impact of a campaign became one of the most rewarding aspects of his career.
Like many professionals early in their journey, he faced his share of challenges. There were projects that didn’t go as planned, moments when communication was tough, and the occasional steep learning curve. But those experiences became the foundation for his growth. They pushed him to become more proactive, more strategic, and more thoughtful in how he collaborates and leads. Looking back, Andrew credits those early trials with shaping not only the way he approaches marketing, but how he shows up for clients today.
